WANGSA MAJU, 15TH JUNE 2017 – Institute for Youth Research Malaysia (IYRES) continued its courtesy visits to National Service Department (JLKN) to strengthen the existing collaboration that has existed through National Service Impact Research that was conducted by IYRES. This session served as a medium for IYRES to promote its roles and functions further with JLKN and seeking new ventures in youth development.
Mr. Azlan Abd. Majid, Deputy Director (Policy) of JLKN was interested to seek opportunity of knowledge sharing in terms of IYRES’ research structure to improve JLKN’s research and development (R&D) unit as well as providing engaging information as a way to attract youth to participate in National Service 2.0.
JLKN also open to collaboration in data sharing to extend Ydata@IYRES System that will be valuable for related stakeholders in planning effective strategies for development of Malaysian youth.
